Hi Lois,

I can see my son Adam who is 11 being just like your son's age and beyond. He has his bath times when he loves them especially when he would bring toys in and his swimming mask and hold his breath under water, and we would have some fun talks and I mis washing him when he was younger but I digress. There are times he does not want to take a bath he gets angry and has an attitude tells me "why do I have to take a bath I'll get dirty again tomorrow." Tells me "I don't want to!" Of course if he continues after being warned I will get him naked and in the tub, bathe him then spank him.

Then as others of you have said, as he got older and would bathe himself he would do a half a body job and have an attitude that I want to inspect him holding the towel in front. And then back in he will go and I wil get him clean and wash his hair, thats another thing the way he yell and complains that I wash his hair to hard, "IT HURTS!" and "YOUR WASHING MY HAIR OFF!!" All of which has led to him being spanked if he keepsit up and get disrespectful.
