Sounds like Michael will be needing several spankings in the short term to realize you are serious about his punishments. I had to do that for my 14 year old son when I started spankings back after a two year hiatus. He earned (7) spankings in a two week period before settling down to about 2 a month. For the remainder of his 14th year. Then he had an upsurge at 15 and at 16 he went to about one spanking every six weeks, Maybe 8 for the year. So be patient for Michael as consistent is the word as he grows out of the constant need. Be consistent with discipline and it works.
