Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. As I said, I always made it clear to the children when they went over to another home, or while being babysat, for them to behave themselves. And they knew what the consequence was in disobeying Mom/my.

In regards to using my hand if they received a spanking from someone who was already quite a sound spanker (like Julie), it wasn't automatic I would always use my hand. There were instances where if I was really upset or disappointed with the reason (misbehavior) why they were spanked, it was possible I would also give them a full spanking. To let them know just how unacceptable and naughty their behavior was, and how upset Mommy was with them.

Yes, there would be additional marking involved with them receiving two full, very sound spankings close together like that. But as I said, it was for behavior that was quite serious, so I was just fine with that extra marking. And something that I felt would give them an excellent added reminder for awhile, as well. Fortunately for them, that is something I didn't have to do all that often (give another full spanking when they already received a very sound one).
