Lois,

I feel for you and understand this battle with boys not wanting to get clean and or not caring. You handles this beautifully.

Our oldest boy's problem is he since being mid teens can get so lazy, getting him to take a shower at times when he is in that negative stubborn lazy teen mode will not want to get up and get in the shower, but a long time bare over my lap puts an end to that.

Our youngest boy Benjamin at 13 its on and off when he was younger he just wanted to play in the tub and that had its own problems continued splashing water on the floor, not wanting me to wash himself of me to do it earned him his share of spankings, and when he takes a shower same thing he plays around in there the gets out without washing, he has a few times said to me "Oh yeah I forgot to wash" after being spanked he then washes.
