A spanking certainly needed for your son from what you indicated he had done. That would have earned a serious spanking in my home. I won't comment on the length as you've already your fill on that, I think you know my opinion it as well. But I'll take your word on the number being higher than what you notated. :)

And believe me, I can relate to what you are feeling for your youngest son. But he is only 15 or 16, correct? He is certainly plenty young enough to have spankings as an option for at least a couple more years. But I felt the same way when my children were in their late teens, thinking each spanking may be there last, until it was. My son giving me a bit of a surprise at 19 (almost 20) when he needed one more visit over my lap.

But the day will come when all of your children receive their last spanking. And where yes, you 'do' miss it (I did at first), it is also a day to celebrate. As they are showing you they are now that adult that has matured well enough where they don't need another trip over your lap. Which has been your goal all along, raising them from that child into a contributing, responsible member of society.

Besides, you plan to have grandchildren, don't you? They'll benefit from Grandpa Mark's and Grandma's Irene's lap just as much as their parents did. :) I can tell you my grandchildren certainly do!
