I have run into that situation with your 10 yr old too many times to count with my own when they were growing up. As well as more currently with children I've babysat and my grandchildren. They even have similar chores that are expected and know that arguing or pouting about them will lead to a spanking.

I found it cute with your comment of "spankland". I have sometimes used something similar in "Do you want a one-way ticket to Redbottomland?" And they've come to learn exactly what that means.

The spankings for both your daughter and her friend were so well needed! You cannot take any chances with safety. I do like to give one warning usually for misbehavior, but there are times I give immediate spankings and safety violations definitely falls under that. I would have done the same as yourself.

I agree with Megan, triple spankings are just going to happen every so often. Especially if you have more than one child and then you include any friends they have visiting. I raised four children and with my four alone, there were quite a few instances I had to spank three times between my younger three. And then with having spanking permission with a number of their friends (and their friends visited often), or while watching even only 1 or 2 of my nieces and nephews, triple spankings was something that wasn't too rare.
