Samantha,

My brush is made of Rosewood, its very hard, it's also flat and oblong as Mary's is, I bought it at a flea market the same time my sister and sister-in-law bought theirs. And it does make its own unmistakable cracking sound when I bring it down on a bare bottom. There have been times I knew I was going to deliver a thorough intense longer spanking and knew just how I wanted the bottom to look before I stopped with my brush.
