Hi My Friends,

In a recent thread about the post spanking walk, Sarah discussed standard and serious spankings, followed by the mention of Life Lesson Spankings occasionally.

I am pretty sure that a Life Lesson spanking is something well beyond a serious spanking. This had me thinking about spankings that I have given my boys that may fall into that category. I am pretty sure that a spanking that I gave my oldest son about two to three years ago when he was about 13 or so, would indeed classify as a Life Lesson spanking.

My son had said that he was going over to a friends house which was fine, but then later he and friends went over to another friends house, who I did not know. They stayed there for quite a while, well beyond when he was to be home. He did not check in with me and had me very worried when I realized he was not where he said he would be and the mom at the house where he was supposed to be was not sure where they were either.

I eventually found him and got him home. He knew his bottom was toast - literally. It was very serious that for quite a while we did not know where he was, he did not check in with me and where he was ultimately was a home and family we did not know. He received an extremely serious spanking that looking back I would say could be considered a Life Lesson Spanking. This was before I started using a nice hairbrush that I learned from Mary and others here, however I did use a heavy wooden spatula that I had the kitchen. At that time my spankings were only given by hand, so the wooden spatula was quite a shock to he and his bottom. When complete, my sons bottom was frankly beyond red. It was what I think some would call blistered and he did feel it for days. I kept home through the weekend while we nursed he very thoroughly spanked bottom.

I am just curious if some of you have provided spankings that you would classify as a Life Lesson Spanking that was beyond a serious spanking. Is it something that is extremely rare or has this been necessary more than a time or two?
