Hi Becky,

I just want to share with you that I agree that the ages of 5/6 is so perfect for the wooden spoon. Their bottoms are so little (and cute) at that age, so the spoon is an ideal size and just the right amount of punch or zing to it for their little bottoms.

I am a big believer in wooden hairbrushes as well, but more so around 8 to 10 years old, depending on the child and circumstances.

Great job using the wooden spoon!
