Many, many years ago, when I used to spank as a babysitter before having children, I would just pull down their pants and underpants/panties to their ankles when I would need to spank. But much like with Mary, I would have the issue of pants partially being kicked off and flopping around (sometimes almost hitting me) or they would just end up being kicked off completely, flying across the room. So I felt it was just easier to start removing their clothes from the waist down completely and have been doing it that way ever since, almost 40 years later.

Where I mostly just remove clothes from the waist down, I will spank them in their birthday suit if the situation presents itself. Like for misbehavior during bath time, or out of the shower, that's self-explanatory. Or during the summer months, I've needed to spank numerous times out of our backyard pool over the years. Or out of our pond at our vacation home up north.

The boys swim trunks are taken down and off. And with the girls, if they are in a one-piece swimsuit it will be nude for them as their suit is peeled down and off. However, if they are already wearing a two-piece, then their bottoms are only removed.

Stephanie, count me as another Mom (and now Grandma) that agrees that having us doing the baring is always important. I've always bared the children, no matter how old they are. As it has been said, it lets them know that Mommy (Grandma) is very much in charge and they have absolutely no say or control in the situation they are in right now. They've earned their spanking and there is nothing that they can say or do that is going to change that. And Mommy unbuckling, unbuttoning and unzipping their pants is a strong message letting them know exactly that.
