Hello, This has been fun reading through all the replies.
Wiggling, rocking, bucking, twisting, pushing into my lap, throwing their head back and/or to the sides, crossing and uncrossing ankles, frog swimming, bicycle pedaling, kicking legs out or the traditional kicking up and down, gripping pillows/bedsheets/cushions or just flailing their arm(s), and of course the (attempted) reach back to try and block my swats.

None of the children have done all of the above, of course.

There are 5 here that I have spanked, my 3 and my niece and nephew. To add on to what Sarah has said they all have had their own responses as well. But they have also always been have been "frantic and desperate" over my lap while I have spanked.

Also as Mary and Sarah and I know you believe this way as well. I do feel that is a very normal and expected reaction in administering a good, sound and thorough spanking. "I would be concerned if I was spanking them like I should be, if they didn't respond that way." Yes!

I also witness their wiggling, twisting, bucking, twisting, pushing their hips into my lap, lifting their head up, shaking it no, crossing and uncrossing ankles, desperately trying to get their arm out of my hand so that they can block my spanks, the traditional kicking up and down, the holding of pillows grabbing couch cushions, flailing their free arm, and attempting to escape my lap.

Their bottom cheeks bouncing, jiggling, splaying and they do also in between all of that,flex their bottom it is also so adorable to watch.
