Hello Megan,

I have used a rubber strap few times in my life. One of my nephews who is 14 at the moment is spanked with one. My cousin insists on using it because it does not bruise the bottom as much as hard wooden hairbrush does.

I do not like to use anything that requires a child to be bend over bed or a chair, instead of my lap. But I cannot denny how effective the strap is. It stings like the devil, and the bottom is sore for days. It also allows for quite a long sessions. Honestly I would love to have something like that in a usable format for over my lap spankings.

I have never spanked this particular nephew of mine with a hairbrush since his mom does not allow me to, but strapping him I dare to say that it is even worse than my hairbrush is.
