I am late to this as well, Happy Mother's Day to Irene! I couldn't agree more with the others how wonderful it was for her on her day, thanks to you and the kids. That was so sweet of your youngest to be churlish < I had to look it up giving his mum one last gift for her day.

My daughter was spanked only once on Mom's day when she was 14 or 15 it was for the same behavior as your youngest was, my oldest boy a couple times the most recent a few years ago when he was 11 for being a mouthy brat and not wanting to go to bed at his bedtime, our youngest last year he was 8 had himself a tantrum, I can't remember why.
