If Jack had to be spanked, he came downstairs in his pyjamas a while for before his bedtime. I took the pyjama trousers down, but left them round his ankles, so he climbed over my lap like that.

Once the brush had him kicking his legs, the trousers soon worked their way off and left him bare from his waist to the soles of his feet. There was no great reason for doing it this way, though maybe I felt Jack would feel sillier standing with his trousers down like that than standing with them off.

And it was a little landmark along the path of the spanking when the trousers had come off. And Jack had done it for me!
