It is extra satisfying when they come out of a spanking all humble, respectful and apologetic. I too love hearing I deserved it, I think part of what they really mean is I needed it.

As for checking bottoms I generally don't unless it was a serious spanking where there was more than a little marking.
That being said my son used to not cover up much the night of, so as you can guesse Amanda I'd check it several times and as I'd watch him sleep I'd give it a little rub. As I said in another post if I see one I can't keep my hands off it.

At times they'd both ask for some aloe. My rule was no aloe on the day of the spanking but on day 2 I'd happily give them an aloe butt rub.

My daughter used to cover up more generally speaking but she'd usually ask for some aloe vera on day 2 so at that time I'd get to check it out and give her a rub.

Jeff and Lianne really don't cover up at all and like to stay bare and take a nap afterwords. So again I can't help but check that out a few times at least.

Anyhow sounds like you gave exactly the type of spanking that I used to love giving. It sounds like it was very good for both of you and those are the best ones so I'm happy for you but maybe just a wee bit jealous as well.
