Lois,

This is so good, I smiled too, good for you mom. I love the analogy of your boys appearing to be swimming and running. We need to see and hear such things or whatever the loud sounds are that our children make and their antics over our lap or their attempted antics.

Both of your boys saying this as well as being so loud and crying as they did, being so animated are the sights and sounds of a good and proper spanking being administered. It certainly is in my book.

Interestingly enough the word 'sound' is not only used as in a "good sound spanking", but also in the literal sense of the noise. Not only with the hard crisp smacking and cracking sounds of our hands and brush on their bare bottom, but the child's cries and yells, as well.

I have always given my boys and daughter (when she was spanked) enough to reach that "submission point" and then beyond and yes the otk position allows for that easily. I also always hear from the one I am spanking that "it hurts" that I am "spanking too hard" and "that's enough" but it is not up to them to decide how thorough we spank or how long they have to stay across our lap.
