Lois,

I am sorry I am late to this, but both spankings for Stanley and Tomas were so well needed and deserved.

I had more attitude issues with my girls, especially when they got into their pre-teen/teens, but my son, my nephews or boys I've babysat (including Andy and Derek) certainly have those moments of sass and attitude. They try to let us know what they 'think' they can do, but find out quickly they are not too old to be taken over Mommy's lap for a good spanking. And I am always 'Mommy', even for other children than my own, not long after I start to spank.

Like you, I hear from the children how much it hurts, how they can't take anymore. I agree with what has been said, spankings SHOULD hurt a lot, and I make sure they do so each and every time. I always spank long and hard.

Much like with Stephanie, I spank until they reach they feel like they can't take anymore and then I continue to spank well beyond that. As my mom has always said "Once that point has been reached, then the real spanking begins." And I agree, it is when the real teaching starts.

When we see and hear them wailing and screaming, along with kicking and flailing frantically on our lap, the tears and snot are flowing abundantly, we know the spanking is affecting them exactly how it needs to and the message is being received fully. All part of a good and proper spanking.
