Grumpy,

No it's not a dying position. Funny thing is I never gave it any thought, it was just then natural thing for me to do the first time I spanked it was as a sitter. I was 14, it was my little 7 year old bratty cousin who I was taking care of one Saturday, I of course had been given permission to spank. It was how my brother and I were spanked by our mom and I knew my sister in law spanked that way. It is how my newly turned (yesterday) 20 year old daughter spanks when she is a sitter and will spank as a mom.

I have two ways that I have them over my lap.

When I am in the wooden high back chair my thighs are almost touching and they will be draped across my lap with their right arm firmly pinned to their back as they struggle to remove it from my hand to block their bottom, eyes going from inches away from and looking at the carpet to straight up looking at the wall then ceiling then back to the floor, feet kicking lightly to my right with his bottom wigging, cheeks tensing and relaxing as I maintained a steady cadence.

When I am seated on the couch I will be slightly facing left, my legs will be separated enough to provide a nice area to lay them over with their head over the couch.
