I think you perfectly managed the issue.

I'm a lexan paddle owner and I think it is a very good tool. Congratulations for your purchase 😉. I just spanked my almost 10 years old daughter for one of last times with hand only. She will turn 10 next month and she will taste the paddle as her older sister.
