Hello! I'm raising her to be a free and independent child capable of taking her own decisions, of course at her age I still have to decide a lot for her and it was my decision to leave her feet free when putting on her clothes, but now she's clearly expressing what she wants, and she certainly doesn't want shoes. Luckily she's quite active indoors and outdoors, I encourage her to go out in every temperature (sometimes just short) and she certainly has a robust health!
While it's important children enjoy doing what they do I also see the positive effects, like it's a great boost to circulation and her feet are strong and have a natural shape with wide toes, her soles have a wonderful smooth leathery skin and it's great fun to rub them (I love to do that at bedtime after washing her feet). So it's obvious we are meant to grow up like this!
