Yes similar to Anita and Alex my own son and daughter have remarkably tough soles with lovely arches and leather pads. Winter was a cold one but we did not get much snow and sometimes mild so my two have been barefoot throughout winter and now entering spring they are both looking forward to discovering more places that they can walk barefoot.

I will help them in discovering more places for barefoot walking and will plan some trips.

But like Alex spring and summer is the time of year where I can admire how tough their soles are and look at the different shades of black their soles are after a walk around town.
