We keep her barefoot unless she wants shoes or it's obvious the conditions are too dangerous (frost, broken glass). She's happier that way and has no difficulties walking along even in the city on pavement and asphalt sidewalks.

Definitely, she's so cute ... even if we get some surprised looks when we're together in town on a cool day, everyone wearing jackets and long pants but her feet are bare. But as long as she's fine, happy and doesn't get injured (I'm checking that again after getting home) it's probably the best thing.

She's just getting into kindergarten so not taking part in any kind of organized sports but loves to climb and play on the lawn. Something more parents should do, play active games with their little children, it's also a wonderful way to cheer up and forget for a moment about the worries of the world!
