Hi I am from the UK and three summers ago it wasn't unusual to see girls out in their socks around here, in town, park, supermarket. Both my girls then aged 8 and 10 went out in their socks all the time. We then had a period of wet, cool weather and this killed off the trend apart for my youngest daughter who persevered.

She still goes out in her socks but is the only one
