Just by being themselves and easily, nimbly moving barefoot over all kinds of surfaces, my children set an example to others of their age group. Some may hesitate because of what they heard at home, but once they notice how much easier it is barefoot they become regulars ... not all but certainly a number of their friends.

I remember a scene at the playground when the parents of other kids wanted to keep them from taking their shoes off. I pointed out that mine do quite well without and haven't been injured yet. Perhaps I could help those other parents to change their minds.
