Hello Ines, wonderful. I'm 18 now, I've been walking barefoot for a number of years, in the city and everywhere. It's easy and fun, so good for your son, and you see he's not getting injured or anything. I also noticed my feet are pretty resistant to hot roads, though on the hottest days I prefer going in the shadow. The skin is like a natural insulation.
