Nothing is wrong with using pseudonyms. Yes I'm a man, I admit it.

I hope no parents are forcing their children to go barefoot when it's too cold, because the calendar says so. If these children however PREFER to go barefoot there is nothing wrong with it, a little encouragement is fine as well, you can find a lot of sources confirming that it results in stronger feet, better circulation, and helps to prevent deformations, fungus, ingrown nail and many other ailments. The ability to go barefoot anywhere is important and preventing your children from attaining this ability against their will would be parental negligence.

It is also a parental responsibility to warn their children about the true dangers of walking barefoot (injury and frostbite) and how to avoid them (watch your step, lift your feet, go back in the warm house when toes go numb in the cold).
