That's what I was wondering, what kind of fancy events has she attended barefoot? What did she wear, any reactions from the others there? Did your son go barefoot too?

As for my kids it's another relaxing day at the lake, tomorrow we plan to go to a waterfall.

They will all be barefoot well into October which can still be a very pleasant month for outdoor activities there. And then they will discover they have grown out of their old winter shoes but we don't buy new ones before they are actually needed.
