If you look at all the bad influence children and teens can have on each other at school (such as drugs, whether legal or not) it would be a good and healthy trend to start if others follow their example!

All three of mine go to school barefoot and don't take footwear along, that includes gym/phys.ed. classes where their sports bags are small and lightweight with just an extra t-shirt and shorts, it seems like they aren't the only ones doing sports barefoot. A practical side effect, they're the first finished in the changing room.
Last week we went shopping for clothes, getting each of them long pants and jackets for when it cools down, those will be combined with bare autumn feet I'm fairly sure!
