My daughter is 12 and will be 13 next month and she's now washing her own feet and scrubbing her own soles. Sometimes if she hasn't done a good job of cleaning I'll help her out myself but she's normally pretty good.

As a full time barefooter her soles are perpetually dirty anyway which she quite likes.

I do enjoy though watching my daughter and my sons soles as they walk get dirty. I can even tell roughly where they have been by the colour of their soles too!
