Sunday we all went to the thermal swimming pool. Afterwards I offered my daughter to take care of her feet (the boys went to see some of their friends meanwhile). It's always a pleasure to do this and we talk about a lot of things, ideas, plans and people while I file her toenails in shape (no toenail polish currently) and buff up her heels to be smooth to the touch. Concluding with a firm massage and rubbing in a pleasantly scented homemade cream. Though her feet are on the small side for her age, they are certainly capable and quite pretty.
At the end she looked at her soles jokingly remarking how unusual it is to see them rosy pink without a trace of black ... but the next trip to town will take care of that!
Considering the way the weather seems to be going ... we also put all her footwear in a box and moved it to our storage room. Bye until december? We'll see!
