Hi, yeah I concur that hard concrete or asphalt floors and pavements are no danger to bare feet but only aid in the development and toughness of our feet.

I've been walking everywhere on mostly asphalt surfaces for 20 plus years and my son who is now 9 has walked on these surfaces barefoot all his life. He too enjoys the contrast from warm sun baked pavements to the cool tile surface of the supermarket.

He also enjoys comparing his and my soles afterwards to see who got them the blackest!
