Subject: Condolences to Chris on the passing of his mom

For those who hadn't heard...

Here is the link to what Chris wrote for her on FB:

Did you ever meet my mom? Dorothy “Dr. Dot” Vignolo Isaak. You would have loved her. She was a gorgeous blonde who fell in love with the love of her life, Joe, got married, had three sons, and worked in a potato chip factory on the assembly line. Then, when women weren’t expected to do anything, she decided to go back to school and was unstoppable. From junior college, to college on an academic scholarship, and finally getting her Ph.D. (all with a house full of men who asked “What’s to eat?” 6 times a day). She was a great counselor, no good at making money, she counseled many for free… She knew lots of big words, but could also cuss like a sailor - and loved being a bit shocking.

She loved music, and even though we were always broke, she showed me that choosing your dreams is always better than chasing money.

Gone, but still in my heart.
I love you, Mom. So much.
