Subject: Yes my moral compass has gone astray, but
not recently. Clearly, one of Chris's morals is keeping his word. He went through with his obligation to this salesforce discussion. I couldn't have been easy and he did it. Like the interviewer noted, he is thoughtful even through his sorrow, that I doubt he mentioned.
I loved his words about his mom on social media and my belief is you're eased into the other side by the truth said by those left here. St. Pete probably said "Hey Dr. Dot, welcome. You pursued the right things in life and here's your spot." Greatness through service to those she raised and counseled is such a feat. As well as being a great partner in life. Fortunately, love is stronger than death and while her family's time is still here, their shared love has no end.
Of course, I didn't know her and had only seen her. Well, also shared an elevator once. She was so glamorous, in the true sense of the word, with her own style. A style not dependent on money, but her own sense of who she was. That was what I picked up on, while I tried not to invade her space or blurt out something silly. When I would see her at one or two concerts, she was clearly proud of her son. May you find some comfort, Chris. You've been a wonderful son. Your truth in words and song are carrying her through. <3
