Well then, 9.30pm on the 20th. This year, 50 years later, it's a Saturday night, and tonight, though there's no storm, 16° in Washingtonville/Blooming Grove.
50 years ago, tonight, I was in Albany... had NO idea what was happening on "the Hill", at The Lodge, but tonight, 50 years later, it's rather painful to know now what I didn't know then... and to have lost ALL of what I'd had then, over the course of 50 years.
Good night, George, where-ever you are. I still hold your memory, dear, in my heart. And to those who've "gone", I look up & see you above, in the clear, cold night sky, dancing... "stars", as you were then & remain today.
Until we meet again... I'll do my best to keep your memories until I join them...
