Subject: WELCOME BACK !!!

I'd be remiss if I didn't open this new forum with my sincere expression of gratitude to Voyager for providing this opportunity for ALL of us to communicate and correspond with one-another. "Thank you" seems trite in comparison to the actual emotion of gratitude I feel right now.

G's was a land-mark, a most cherished and certainly extremely important aspect in many lives, even for the relatively short while it existed, and I doubt anybody who'd ever visited has ever really forgotten it.

Keeping this first message short, let me just say that I hope you'll all use this opportunity to jot your thoughts, memories, maybe try to catch-up with one-another and keep in touch. For those of us who were there, let's face it, we're all of a "certain age" today. But our experiences can provide SO MUCH to all those who missed one of the greatest eras in human history, so I hope you'll all feel free to jot notes, pass on words of sagely advice, and welcome all "newcomers" as warmly as we were welcomed at G's.

And if, at any time, you have any comments or concerns about this forum (which WILL be "moderated"... there'll be NO tolerance for "spam" of ANY sort or anything inappropriate to the enjoyment of others), I want you to know that yes, I AM a "people" and I WILL respond/reply. There's a "Contact" link here for you to get in touch with me directly, as well as on the site-proper. So comments, suggestions, recommendations, greetings... anything that crosses your mind that you'd like direct attention to, PLEASE, ALWAYS feel free to get in touch.

PS: Apologies for the "Captcha" function here. I've learnt from past experiences that it keeps the "spam" down to a minimum, and I hope to keep this forum as pleasant and enjoyable as possible for everybody. From time to time, SOME un-wanted messages might get through, but the "Captcha" keeps the quantity down to manageable. It's not a "tracer", just a verification that we're "people".
