Subject: New Magazine

I was at the supermarket the other day, browsing the magazine section, when I saw a new magazine. It's called Maxim presents Blender, and it's a music magazine. I initially blew it off as a serious magazine because of the provocative Janet Jackson picture on its cover, but decided to buy it because it had an interview with Thom Yorke. Get this, the feature stories included: Thom Yorke, Janet Jackson, DJ Clue, Tim McGraw, Destiny's Child, and Weezer. How's that for running the gambit from pop to not. Plus, over two hundred reviews (a lot of them older CDs), including new fare from Pete Rock and Radiohead (three and four stars, respectively, out of five). It's a magazine worth checking out: it's all about some music.
