Subject: 575 bus questions

I've been trying to read up on bus speeds. I think I understand that with the original 68LC040 @ 33Mhz. in a 575 also ran at 33Mhz. bus speed. That's 1 to 1, right? Does that mean no wait states as the CPU and bus are running at the same speed?
Then, what happens when you install a true 68040 and clock chip the CPU to 40Mhz? Does the bus still run at the original 33Mhz. or does the modification also speed the bus up to 40Mhz?
If it still runs at 33Mhz. does that impose wait states? What if you were to speed the bus to 40Mhz. (assuming it could be done, I've never saw anything about doing it), would you see a noticiable difference in the computer?

Do I think too much??

Connor
