Thanks for the advice guys. When I disconnect the SCSI, it fired right up.

I left the the power plugged into the SCSI CD-ROM, so I don't think it is a power issue.

So I think that effectively narrows it down to a SCSI problem. Details:

- I replaced the short SCSI cable on the 630 connector with a longer one from a old 6100 - but it had two connectors on it (the 6100 had a SCSI HD and CD-ROM) - problem? Don't think so.

- The SCSI CD-ROM provides term power... (geeez I hate SCSI!)

Anyone who has run into this SCSI issue and has any advice, it's greatly appreciated.
