Basically, you need cut only the wires (on the harness) that takky says you need to connect to the classic's pushbutton board, and leave the rest hooked up to the 630's assembly. pretty simple.. You will have to extend the wires to get them to the push button board, though, as I am sure that your mounting location for the IR sensor will not be on the way to the pushbutton board. (that sensor will work through a pinhole. It is sensetive.)
