Got it!

While Alexey's idea of something derived from Gossamer has an appeal, most ideas sound a bit strange, and other projects haven't followed that principle.

OTOH, Al's musing led to further thought:

It's Taco.

Here's the explanation for the FAQ:

Section 2 - Motherboard upgrades -

new sub-section: 'Taco' upgrades

1. What is a 'Taco' CC?

It's a Colour Classic with a Gossamer logic board installed. This board was originally fitted to the first beige G3 Power Macs, which came in three different cases, desktop, mini-tower, and All In One. Due to the size of the board, it can only be installed in CCs with an LCD screen, so the logic board can be fitted more or less vertically across the width of the machine and parallel to the front panel.

2. Why is it called 'Taco'?

Three reasons:

First the phonetic similarity to 'Takky' - the first PowerCC design and a name constructed from a combination of the two designers of 'Takky'.
Second because the name of the US restaurant chain 'TacoBell' links the machine with the person who probably first came up with the idea of putting a Gossamer logic board in a CC case - Stuart Bell.
Third, Stuart Bell likes Tacos.

OK?

Stuart.
