You mentioned the dye sub printer. That brought back memories. A friend of mine supplied some diecast milk trucks and we put on his old family milk business logo using the transferrable material from a Seiko Dye Sub Printer (Colorpoint). The only draw back is the clear adhesive substrate around the white letters. That probably wouldnt show if you trim the substrate around the semi-oval of the badge......edge to edge.

Also when I used the Letraset material I found a font (It was probably regualar Adobe Garamond) and used that. Noone that I should it to noticed any difference between the original Apple Color Classic words to the new Mystic I put on. It is close enough the change doesnt jump out at you. Its not like I chose Zapf Chancery for the font.

So although all the suggestions are great and personally appreciate the suggestions, I have found the Letraset is the easiest, but thats my opinion only.
