My board also shows 'Asante Tech, Inc. (c) 1993 MCLC REV. A' along the connector edge. The model# I stated in my previous message was gotten from Asante's status/troubleshooting software, which has a spot that shows the board info. Here's additional info from my board, maybe you can spot a difference:
----
chip at U6 is marked:
MCiLC
000094-693C2F
U6
-
Chip at U4 is missing
-
chip at U2 is marked:
Asante
LC20028
4L02F2664
Japan 9516EAI
-
Jumper at J2 is off
-
I still have the disk image downloaded from Asante's site, and though I don't know the exact version, the file creation date is Aug 26, 1997. The image is the 'Asante Ethertalk Installer'. If I remember correctly, this software was actually installed while still using the original CC mainboard. All I did once I put the LC575 mainboard into it was put the System Enabler on the drive prior to swapping the boards.

I hope this is of some help
Jeff
