Thanks for the serial number and jumper setting info. The only difference I see with the card that I have is the serial number on the chip at location U6. The rest of the serial numbers and jumper settings are the same as you describe. I tried the Asante trouble shooting software but it didn't recognize the card. Here's the error message:

"Could not find the Asante Ethernet Adapter!
Please see Installation Manual and verify that the Adapter is properly connected and plugged in."


The Color Classic I was waiting for has arrived! I have tested the card on the stock CC and it worked! (though after using the Mystic logic board, it was like everything was in slow motion...) So I can eliminate that as a source of why the card didn't work in my Mystic.

Before testing the card in the stock CC, I reformatted the drive and installed System 7.5.3 (custom install complete system software for _all_ macs) and the Networking software (Classic Networking) that came with the installer.
