 Interesting and sad. Honestly I think for all his "wholesome" image, Pat Boone was a bit creepy and the stories of him spanking his daughters kinda lend to that. Another performer who was supposed to be a "paragon of virtue" Bing Crosby was abusive towards his sons severely caning them bare bottom. The list of celebrities who were spanked growing up is a pretty long one and many of them admitted to being spanked bare bottomed. In addition to Debbie Boone, were celebs like Britt Ekland, Farrah Fawcett and even Shirley Temple.
