I avoid writing here because most people are weird, but I just wanted to cheer you up. You may not see it now, but you are working for your future self. Remember that you are doing it for the Laura in the future, and not because you want to avoid paddling. Sometimes a change in how we see the world impacts how we feel about certain things. I wish you luck, and I hope your mom will not need to paddle you any time soon.
