I can definitely relate. I did get threatened with a spanking a few times by my Mom, but I think they were just empty threats and she didn’t intend to actually do it. I ever had an “imminent” spanking like you described but got out of it

I have tried a few professional disciplinarians. Role play is… ok… I guess. But it’s no substitute for the real loss of control of being pulled across my Mom’s lap like I think I deserved.
