It is good that it is not a big deal to you, but you are not a reflection of mainstream reality. The reason why it's a big deal to most people is that it tends to be uncomfortable, confusing and humiliating for the girl, violating her bodily autonomy and rights to privacy. It falls under the definition of molestation. The father may just be blindly insensitive, but his honorable intentions to expose his daughter are suspect at best.
