My babysitter from ages 9-12 was the daughter of the pastor at our church, a girl I had known my entire life. She started babysitting me on weekdays during the summer while she was home from college, so she was 18-22 give or take.

I considered her a friend, my mom had set rules I was supposed to follow but Heather (the sitter) never enforced them. The second summer, she was given spanking permission and it was not long before she used it. She told me to do my reading for the day (one of mom’s rules) and I refused. I was used to the rules not being enforced and didn’t think Heather would actually spank me. I was wrong! Her personality did a 180 and she was less friendly and acted more like an authority figure. She spanked me 5 or 6 times during those years.
