I said this to a similar question and despite believing a parent should punish in any way they see fit, I wouldn’t do this. I actually saw a news story a couple years ago of a chastity device being discovered on a boy and the parents getting in trouble. I think a parent who’s doing that would come to a board like this for validation. Usually a parent would want to do this as a form of control, or out of concern their kid might become addicted to masturbation but I think it would cause a lot of pain and distraction because even if a boy is doing good, they’ll still get erections and it will be very bothersome with this.
