I can understand it not going down when you apply an ice cube to it because at that time he is paying attention to what you are doing and that would only cause it to erect even more.

I'm guessing that when you say that you 'relieve him', to get rid of their erections, that only applies to the two older boys since the 9 year old wouldn't be embarrassed to the point that he erects much like his older stepbrothers.
